Product Designs & Properties

• All designs offered on our e-commerce store are and remain the property of MPR Leatherworks.
• Actual product colours may differ from the pictures displayed on the e-commerce store. Our designs are laser engraved on natural vegetable tanned or factory tanned leather, and leather colour-tone can vary from skin to skin.
• Your leather gift may change in colour (darken) over time as this is the nature of leather.
• When submitting your own design for laser engraving, MPR Leatherworks reserves the right to refuse to engrave any artwork that is deemed profane, derogatory, obscene, hateful, violent, crude, slanderous, and or that does not adhere to the standards and professional image of MPR Leatherworks.

Ordering Online

• By completing your order online, your order is final and no design changes will be accepted.
• Upon completion of your order, you will receive an email confirming your order to the email address supplied at checkout or account creation. Please ensure you enter the correct contact information.
• All products are made to order, and your order production will be added to the first in, first out queue.
• We always strive to keep stock of all supplies required to fulfill your order. However, in the even that shortages in raw materials and/or accessories exist, we will notify you of any delay in production. MPR Leatherworks is not liable for loss or damages caused due to delayed dispatching of orders.
• When submitting your own design for laser engraving, please allow for extra time to complete your order, as often times some design adaptations need to be made due to the nature of laser engraving.

Submitting your own designs for laser engraving:

• When submitting your own design for engraving please ensure you have read the detailed description of the Custom Keyring Product, in which is described all the requirements applicable to submitting your custom design
• Laser engraving reads black colours the best. Any light colours on your image will be darkened for engraving purposes.
• When submitting your own design, we will first print one sample and send you an image of the final result, which you will have to approve in writing before production of the order commences.

We may change our terms and conditions from time to time without expressly informing you. It is your responsibility to check back to our terms and conditions page to ensure you stay informed of any changes that may occur.

Eligibiltiy & Responsibility:

MPR Leatherworks will only knowingly provide products or services to persons who can lawfully enter into and form contracts under applicable law.

Users are and shall be wholly and exclusively responsible, at their own cost, for:

• complying with all laws, regulations and rules in the uses country or jurisdiction;
• complying with any recommendations or guidelines issued by MPR Leatherworks with respect to the use of the Website and/or services and
• all telecommunications lines, modems, communication controllers, routers, multiplexers, terminals and all other equipment, hardware and software necessary to access and use the Website and services;
• ensuring that all electronic or other media it uses in connection or in conjunction with the Website and the services provided complies with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws, regulations and rules.

Privacy

MPR Leatherworks may collect personal data concerning the user in the course of and incidental to users use of the Website and services. MPR Leatherworks shall comply with, and user hereby consents irrevocably and unconditionally to MPR Leatherworks’ collection, use and disclosure of such data in accordance with, its Privacy Policy (the terms of which may be accessed through the link on the Website).

MPR Leatherworks uses integrated services such as PayFast Payment Gateway, The Courier Guy Shipping, and PUDO shipping integrations, who each may collect data according to their Terms & Conditions.

Use of Website:

MPR Leatherworks reserves the right to modify the organization, structure, content or “look and feel” of the Website and/or the services, and may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Website and/or the service at any time without notice or any liability to user or any person. MPR Leatherworks shall have complete discretion over the features, functions and other terms and conditions on which the Website and the service is made available.

Intellectual Property Rights

a. Reservation of title
User acknowledges that these Terms of Use do not convey and that it derives no right, title or interest in or to any Intellectual Property Rights that vest or subsist in or relate to the Website and/or the services provided. MPR Leatherworks grants user a limited revocable license to access and use the Website and the service for its intended purposes, subject to users compliance with these Terms of Use. This license does not include the right to collect or use information contained on the Website for purposes prohibited by MPR Leatherworks; to create derivative works based on the layout or design, look-and-feel, or structure of the Website; or download or copy the Website (other than page caching). If user uses the Website in a manner that exceeds the scope of this license or if it breaches these Terms of Use, MPR Leatherworks may revoke the license and deny access to and use of the Website.

b. Prohibition on infringement
User acknowledges and agrees that MPR Leatherworks does not permit, authorize or condone and hereby expressly prohibits user from accessing or using the Website and/or the services in a manner that infringes, or is likely to infringe, the Intellectual Property Rights, or any other rights or privileges, of any person anywhere in the world.

c. Derivative material
Subject to clause b above, user shall own any Intellectual Property Rights in any original material that it authors, designs or creates.

Registration:

User Account, Password, and Security You will receive a password and account designation upon completing the Site’s registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify MPR Leatherworks of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. MPR Leatherworks cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.

Shipping:

MPR Leatherworks makes use of established and reliable courier services, namely The Courier Guy and PUDO (a division of The Courier Guy). MPR Leatherworks will package your order securely. MPR Leatherworks will not be held liable for the damage of goods during shipping/courier transportation to its destination.

Pricing:

MPR Leatherworks reserves the right to change the pricing of products at will without expressly notifying the User thereof.

Indemnity:

User shall indemnify and hereby releases unconditionally MPR Leatherworks , without set off or adjustment, against and from any liability, loss, cost, expense or damage, including all legal fees, arising from or relating to: (a) its use of the Website and/or services and/or the media or content posted or uploaded by it, including any alleged or actual violation of any law directly or indirectly arising from such use; (b) any breach or alleged breach by it of these Terms of Use; (c) the misuse or misappropriation of the said media or content; and (d) any infringement or alleged infringement by user of any persons Intellectual Property Rights, rights of privacy or publication, or otherwise anywhere in the world.
